The Ocean Mug With The Seahorse

This mug is 4.5 inches tall and 3.25 inches wide in diameter.

The vessel made from Speckled Buff clay body. When I throw it on the wheel, it looks completely grey. After second firing, all the specks, which are manganese, create this beautiful light sand color and texture.

It was thrown on the wheel, hand build all the details and hand carved. To create the ocean wave look, I used five different glazes, three layers each. The thumb rest and the bottom of the handle have a turtle imprint.

Dishwasher safe and microwaveable.
